I was laying in my daughter’s room the other night, putting her to bed when I became transfixed in her stars and moon 🌟🌙. . Memories of my room as a little girl with glow in the dark star stickers came rushing to my mind. Memories of playing astronauts with my sister. Memories of all the rooms that I had those stickers in over the years. Then I noticed the one star that’s different ... do you see it? . And in that moment I noticed how beautiful it was. The beauty in its unique nature made me so happy. I wondered if the maker of that projector meant to include one star different from all the others. Did they want us to notice? Did they see the beauty in the difference too? Then as I stared up at the star and held Sloan’s hand, I sent a prayer up to Heaven. I prayed that my sweet girl will embrace her unique self and see how beautiful she is, inside and out, no matter what life throws at her. She hasn’t noticed the one different star yet, but I’m excited for the night that she does! When she notices it, I know she’ll see the beauty in it too. ❤️ #beunique #standout
