Curls and Rocks | Austin TX Photographer

Life has been crazy and I know it has been a while since I have posted. Honestly, it’s been a while since I’ve photographed anything. I think sometimes in life we need to take breaks from things, even things we love. Taking breaks can help you come back to your love with more passion, appreciation and a better perspective.

Last week Sloan and I went to the San Gabriel River in Georgetown to explore. I must say, I cherish these photos even more now because let’s just say, I learned my lesson as a Mom about leaving a three-year-old alone with scissors. Yes, her flowing curly bangs are no more.

This little girl has absolutely captured my heart and changed it for the better. Her love makes me want to be a better person on every level. I’m thankful every day to be raising a young female with such a strong personality and endless curiosity. While it can be challenging at times as many parents know, I have no doubt that she will accomplish great things out in the world. I hope she never loose her wild spirit and kind heart.

Lauren's Senior Session

Photographing Lauren's Senior Session was an absolute blast!  Not to mention, any time I get to photograph a session with a dog, I'm literally on cloud nine!  I have been photographing Lauren since she was a little girl and it was an honor to photograph her senior portraits and witness the incredible young woman she has become.  I am so excited to see the amazing things that she will accomplish in her future!
